Measuring - connecting - control loops
The DIGI.MASTER add-on module CONNECT.PM integrates in-line profile measuring systems into the line networking. By integrating a profile measuring system into a digital extrusion line, the automatic control loops SHAPE.MATIC and WALL.MATIC can be realised. The measurement data is visualised and recorded in the DIGI.MASTER.

SHAPE.MATIC
Keeps the profile in shape.
Together with an in-line profile measuring system and the DIGI.TANK, SHAPE.MATIC ensures maximum consistency of the profile geometry. Even though the DIGI.TANK ensures constant conditions, there are also process fluctuations that can be cushioned with SHAPE.MATIC.
WALL.MATIC
Material savings through automatic control of the wall thicknesses from solid profiles.
Together with an inline profile measuring system, the WALL.MATIC automatically regulates the haul-off speed. By using preset values, the wall thicknesses are constantly kept close to the minimum tolerance and material is saved.
