DIGITAL EXTRUSION SOLUTIONS

at K 2022

K opened its doors in Dusseldorf for the 70th time. From 19 to 26 October, the trade fair's anniversary year was dominated by the two guiding topics circular economy and sustainability.

As a loyal exhibitor at K, Exelliq presented the latest technologies for more efficient and sustainable extrusion under the motto "DIGITAL EXTRUSION SOLUTIONS" - starting with a wide range of different profile samples, through fully networked extrusion lines, to the newest software solutions DIGI.MASTER and EXTRUSION.EXPERT.

Despite the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic, the K show attracted a broad and international audience to the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia. Exelliq had the pleasure of welcoming hundreds of visitors to its booth in a cosy atmosphere and would like to thank all of them for the many exciting discussions and business exchanges.

A diverse collection of technical profile samples awaited the guests of Exelliq, a QR code was used to access product-specific and multimedia content, and the public was immersed even more deeply in the digital world of extrusion.

The fully networked extrusion lines were presented digitally at their best in the new Virtual Showroom, both for the production of technical profiles and window profiles. In addition to the customised complete solutions from a single source, the extensive service portfolio and a broad selection of videos rounded off the interactive demonstrations.

As a further highlight, the two state-of-the-art software applications DIGI.MASTER and EXTRUSION.EXPERT were waiting to be presented in compact and personal talks on the upper floor. As the central extrusion management software, DIGI.MASTER revolutionises the modern production process and paves the way towards fully automated extrusion lines. The knowledge management tool EXTRUSION.EXPERT provides targeted support for troubleshooting in production and, thanks to the rich multimedia content and its easy expansion, is also ideally suited as training equipment.

In addition to the presentations at the booth, Exelliq, together with its sister company Battenfeld-Cincinnati, took use of the Circular Economy Forum at the heart of the exhibition grounds, where pioneering extrusion solutions for profiles made from recycled elastomers and composites were demonstrated.

Exelliq would like to thank all visitors at the booth and is already looking forward to seeing you again in Dusseldorf 2025.
